Custom Needlepoint Of Your Dogs Portrait as a Classic Needlepoint Ornament

Your dog already thinks they're the main character. Now they — I mean you — can have a custom dog portrait needlepoint canvas of them to prove they are the STAR. 🐾

Using the favorite photo of your dog that you send me, I will draw a custom needlepoint portrait designed especially for you to stitch!

Most customers choose a face-only portrait, which allows your dog's face and expression to be the focus of the design — however I also love drawing a partial body portrait as well, like the yellow lab puppy in the listing pictures!

A partial-body portrait works best with a photo taken from above with your dog sitting and looking up, as shown in the sample photos. This angle allows just enough of the body to be included while keeping your dog's face large enough to work beautifully within the 3" or 4" round design.

You'll receive a digital proof for your approval before your artwork moves on to printing.

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE

1. An original premium Zweigart Orange Line Mono needlepoint canvas professionally printed with a one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn digital portrait of your dog, inspired by your favorite photo.
2. A printed full-color pattern showing the correct color for every stitch, with a color reference chart for easy reference while stitching.

Threads are not included with custom canvases, however a suggested thread color list is included.

CHOOSE YOUR MESH & SIZE

My favorite — and what I always suggest — is 13 mesh, as it's so much easier to see! If you choose 18 mesh, it will have the exact same design and produce a smaller finished piece.

BACKGROUND OPTIONS

Classic Striped Background — As shown in the sample photos. I keep the printed stripes light so you can stitch them in any colors you'd like without the printed color showing through.

Blank Background — Your dog's portrait is printed with a clearly defined round light circular outline, leaving the background open for you to stitch however you'd like.

HOW TO ORDER

1. Purchase this listing and select your preferred mesh/size and background option.
2. Email your favorite clear, well-lit photo(s) of your dog to BeastandBloomNDLPT@gmail.com after purchasing. 
3. Let me know whether you'd like a face-only portrait or, if your photo is suitable, a partial-body portrait like the one shown in the sample photos.
4. Tell me anything else you'd like me to know about your portrait, including background color preferences or other special requests.
5. I'll create your portrait and send you a digital proof within approximately 10 business days.
6. Once you approve the artwork, your canvas will be sent to my professional needlepoint printer. Please allow approximately 4 additional weeks for printing, plus transit time.
7. As soon as your finished canvas arrives back in my hands, I'll carefully package it and ship it to you.

Total time from ordering to delivery is typically 6–8 weeks.
